Possible songs with narrative ideas

When deciding what song to use for the A2 media production we developed a chart with five possible songs. After this we analysis the songs and concluded the themes and the narrative ideas we developed for each song. We then condensed all this information into a chart which is  demonstrated below.

Script for Scars to Your Beautiful

We established we wanted some speaking before the music starts, this is to help us portray the message we want, which is to empower women in who they are and that we should all stick together and not change just because the world or the media tells us to.
The way we created this script was through quotes from Alessia Cara herself (the artist) which were said about the song itself and her perception on the media and society.
We want the beginning to be our actress (who will be singing the song) to being saying this over a voice over while images of different people appear in a montage, which presents the different types of beauty which is often overlooked.

15 seconds before music starts

“We’re constantly told what we should be, what we should look like, and if we don’t fit that mould then we’re not good enough (2) we’re reminding all women – and of course men, as well – that we are beautiful and if the world doesn’t think so, then they need to change, not us “

Risk Assessment

We established the types of risks that we might encounter multiple risks both to the production of the music video and the health and safety of our crew and actors. The risks we have mentioned have preventions alongside them. However we understand that these are not the only risks we may encounter when filming and in the pre-production of the video. The risks that we feel are important to mention when establishing our locations and their risks individually, more tables will be added below.
